Dolphin Communications operates a Specialized Mobile Radio (SMR) system. This is a trunked radio system operating in the 800 MHz bands on the Central Coast of California, From Santa Barbara to Paso Robles.
Trunked systems offer private companywide communications, as there is no monitor function. These fleet or talk groups are embedded in the radio system logic.
These systems consist of repeaters located on multiple mountain sites in the area, and provide communications between a dispatch fleet of mobile or hand-held walkie talkie radios.
Dolphin can utilized Kenwood, Motorola and EFJohnson radios on the system.
We have complete maintenance and installation capabilities for all radio concerns.
We offer unlimited dispatch on a monthly basis for $13 a month from one site.
